Why have you chosen to serve on the CURE Board?
To try to protect this wondrous green planet we live on, and because I’m so curious.
Tell us about your vocation/profession.
I am a trial lawyer in Appleton, MN with decades of very rewarding experience helping people in personal injury and wrongful death cases, and courageous citizen whistleblowers who turn in corporations that are committing massive fraud schemes that bilk millions of taxpayer dollars out of our federal and state governments. I am a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and St. John’s University in Minnesota with a degree in Government.
Fun Fact(s):
I paddled the over-200-mile float down the Grand Canyon three times, with my wife Janine and my two kids, on the middle fork of the Salmon with my kids, and other fun and beautiful streams in Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, and Minnesota. I am enjoying teaching my grandkids the joys of paddling, biking, and hiking as well. Our rural home is just south of Appleton, adjacent to large tracts of restored prairie along Lac qui Parle Lake, and a short walk from the virgin Chippewa prairie.
