Join Us! Solar & Wind Field Day, Saturday, July 15, 2017

On Saturday, July 15, CURE members Jim & LeeAnn VanDerPol of Pastures A Plenty and Marv & Judi Boike of Boike Farm are sponsoring a field day featuring their solar and wind installations.  The event begins at 1:00 pm with a presentation by Solar Farm’s James Darabi at Pastures a Plenty (4077 and 4075 110th Ave NE, Kerkhoven MN).
The field day will continue at Boike’s farm (2050 40th Ave SE, Maynard, MN) at 3:00 pm with refreshments and a presentation on wind.

In addition to solar consultations by Solar Farm, the Citizens Utility Board will be available to offer energy bill consultations.  Contact Michelle at [email protected] or (651) 288-4096 to set up a time for a consultation.

CURE, along with Minnesota Farmers Union, Land Stewardship Project, Sustainable Farming Association, and the Practical Farmers of Iowa will be participating in this event.

This field day is a great opportunity to join in the conversation about solar and wind and our clean energy future.  The event is FREE and all are welcome!
