Misty joined CURE as a team member at the beginning of 2023. She brings to CURE a passion for digital design and branding. She collaborates to design, implement, and manage various CURE communications, including creation and adherence to brand guidelines, website refreshes, and fundraising planning. Misty also manages project organization tools that help CURE plan campaigns with transparency and accountability and improve staff communication to achieve individual and organizational goals efficiently.
Prior to Misty’s employment at CURE, she worked as the Corporate Marketing Communications Manager with Schwan’s Company for 15 years. Her concern for environmental issues prompted her to serve as a CURE board member for five years before beginning employment with CURE. Misty grew up in and currently lives in Lac qui Parle Village with her husband. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Art with a Graphic Design Concentration from Southwest Minnesota State University.
