We Want You
The Events & Adventures Program is looking for individuals who have a passion for being outdoors and would like to lead an event or adventure somewhere in the Upper Minnesota River Watershed. We are looking for people with a passion for hiking, biking, bird watching, fishing, star gazing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing etc… the opportunities are limitless.
Why volunteer? It is a great way to share your passion with others. By giving people an opportunity to experience the outdoors in our watershed, you are helping develop others to appreciate, care for and protect our natural resources. CURE will provide you with docent training and all the materials you may need.
Peg Furshong is coordinating our programming schedule for 2016. It is not too soon to contact us if you are interested or if you know of someone that might lead an activity that you would be interested in.
CURE’s Events & Adventures series is funded primarily by member dollars and donations, if you are interested in supporting this important work, please click above on the “Support Our Work” button to give online. If you would like to mail-in a check, please send to 117 South 1st Street, Montevideo, MN 56265.
