You have until September 20th to stand up for WATER in Minnesota!
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is asking for feedback on the health of the Minnesota River Basin. The request is specific, and the links to the reports are below. Change only happens when concerned citizens engage and give feedback. We are asking you to share your concerns with the MPCA—tell them what you see on the river and the surrounding landscape.
Do not be intimidated by this format. MPCA needs to know what issues in the Minnesota River Basin concern you.
Be sure to let MPCA know how this process is working for you. If going to a meeting in Mankato is not possible, invite MPCA to come to your community. If responding to the technical language in this form is not helpful to you, say what YOU need to say. The most important outcome is that you respond to MPCA and communicate your concerns – that is the goal of this Water Action.
Below is the MPCA information. If you do nothing else, please click on this link and in the comments section, let MPCA know what is on your mind related to the Minnesota River Basin.
